The Blaine County Board of Commissioners initiated amendments to Title 9, Zoning Regulations, to provide for and regulate Tiny Homes on Wheels in order to help address the housing crisis in Blaine County, and in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. Blaine County continues to develop plans and a program to utilize American Rescue Plan Act funds to invest in and support workforce housing in Blaine County. ARCH Community Housing - Blaine Manor - The Blaine County Commissioners support ARCH and their goal of providing affordable housing to residents. In 2020, the Commissioners donated land and funds to ARCH to support the Blaine Manor project.
On August 31, 2021 Blaine County received two new ambulances which they purchased for Wood River Fire and Rescue and the Ketchum Fire Department. The ambulances were custom built and designed by both fire departments to meet their specific needs.
